Osaka

Everyone, I'm in Japan with an outreach team. We got in last night and we were going to try and immediately head over to a church, but we ran into alot of traffic on the bus ride into downtown Osaka from the airport. That delay coupled with the sleepiness of everyone (else) made it an unwise decision to spend forty minutes walking (roundtrip) to visit the church an hour late. So we went straight to the base. I  thoroughly enjoy the fact that I did not have to stumble around  trying to find my way. It is a nice feeling to  just grab the right bus and train and walk straight to the door of the base. I think the best part is the team not getting worried and antsy over wondering if we are going the right way.
Catch you later,
Eric

Hey, what's the weather like in Japan? I've never thought of that before, but I can't imagine it. Cold doesn't seem right...but hot doesn't fit either.

Stumbled on to your site...  What mission oganization are you with?  I'm a YWAM-er myself.  Mission trips are so great...and just enlarges your heart for the nations and our differences.  It gives you more than a tolerance, not only and acceptance, but a curiosity and interested in what we do not know.  I find it interesting!  I am even learning this in my own hometown as many immigrants are moving here and I am teaching elementary children esl.  FUN!

And in the end, we feel displaced in our home that we return to...but something about it usually still feels like "home."
